Out of all the anime out there, there are two I have a deep obsession with: Battle Athletes and Urusei Yatsura. While my collection on the latter is severely lacking, my hoard on the former is pretty impressive.

I strive to find any and all merchandise I can, and I have a decent cel collection (although lack of funds keeps it from growing). Awhile back I discovered that there was a Battle Athletes music video in existence. This shocked me because as obsessed as I am with the show I couldn't believe I didn't know about it. Yet it's true! I've found people who own cels and everything!

I received the first ten of twenty-seven Battle Athletes cels from Japan! They're pretty much all good cels. There's even a Mylandah with a background and TWO Tanya cels!

I'm going to sell a few of these because some are pretty much from the same set (so they're almost identical) and I don't need them.

I got word back from the guy I contacted about the cels. My e-mail was pretty clear that despite the Battle Athletes cels not being worth much (this guy deals with restoring DISNEY cels), I was willing to spend money to fix them. Despite that, his recommendation was to replace them because it was a hard fix.

I had some Battle Athletes cels hanging on the wall. Due to my carelessness a light was always shining on them when I was home. I only now discovered, upon close examination, that the light had broke up and faded away the paint, causing noticeable and permanent damage to four of the cels.
